Knee Rehabilitation Exercises
Exercise is Medicine
Knee pain and injury can be debilitating.
We treat knee pain and injuries by designing a specific knee rehabilitation program to restore movement and reduce pain for long-term injuries and knee conditions.
Our knee rehabilitation program includes strengthening exercises, mobility work, and recovery techniques to help you feel better. If you’re recovering from surgery, managing arthritis, or have a sports injury, we've got a safe and structured approach to improve your knee health.

Exercise Physiology Treatment For Knee Injuries

We treat a wide range of knee issues, from major knee injuries and post-surgery rehab to older clients managing osteoarthritis. Every exercise for knee injuries in our program is customised to decrease pain and regain strength and mobility. Every knee issue is unique, so your program is completely tailored to your specific needs.

Knee injuries commonly treated by exercise physiology include:
-
Pre-Post Knee surgery
-
Patellofemoral pain syndrome (kneecap pain, including runners knee)
-
Osteoarthritis
-
Degenerative and traumatic meniscal (cartilage) tears
-
Patella tendinopathy
Exercise Physiology Treatment Program
The treatment plan is based on your knee injury, the results of your physical assessment, your goals, and your level of exercise confidence. Whilst every client's knee injury is unique, your treatment plan will typically progress through four major stages.
1. Regain your full range of motion and look for knee rehabilitation exercises you can do right away without aggravating your pain.
2. Reactivate local knee muscles and begin specific strength training exercises.
3. Correction of whole-body biomechanical factors, such as hip and ankle biomechanics, that are contributing to your pain.
4. Returning to full activities of daily living.
